POWER OF PRAYER

UPDATE: It is now 9-27-18 and the same thing has happened every year, only now I am armed with knowledge about narcissism and understand. Still sad...still wrong...but at least I understand. I wish he did.

I had just given up on him; sending his birthday card because it felt right even though he hasn't had contact since my last attempt in July. Came upon this prayer right after I texted him to double check his address (even though I know she will destroy the card if she gets there first...or pretend it didn't come).
This prayer was posted on Facebook:

Lord, if it is not your will, let it slip through my grasp 

and give me the peace not to worry about it.

Right after I realized this was the truth and I had to follow, he called! I could tell he felt badly about neglecting me.

Thank you, Lord...
